There ain’t much better than breakfast for dinner – and this mashup brings the best of both worlds! With potato, onion, lots of cheese, a nice runny egg and a delicious burger and oh wait, I almost forgot. BACON. This is a great burger only the manliest of men will be able to finish.
1 small potato
1 small onion
Seasoning (I recommend McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger)
2 strips of bacon
3 slices of American cheese
Start off by dicing up a small potato – chop as fine as you can.
Dice up a small onion, again dicing as small as you can.
Heat up a griddle or frying pan to about 350° and add some olive oil.
Combine the diced potato, onion, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Grab a softball sized lump of ground beef, mash it up and flatten it into some oil on the griddle.
Season to taste. I usually use Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning because it tastes amazing.
Start cooking that bacon. I only used two slices, but hey more is always better when it comes to bacon, right?
Keep cooking the potatoes and onions, and when they are fully cooked form them into a circle about the size of the patty. Add a slice of cheese on top and two slices on the burger.
Just before everything is done cooking, fry up an egg over easy.
Assemble your masterpiece.
Serve with some fries!
